Turn a goal into a weekly plan
Start with one meaningful outcome, choose a few concrete tasks, and give them realistic places in your week. In Jurnie, the goal lives in a Journey so your daily work stays connected to it.

1. Give the goal a home
Open Journeys and choose New Journey. Give it a clear title and explain why it matters. For example: “Launch my portfolio,” with a description of the work you want to show and who you want to reach. One owned Journey is included on Free.
2. Ask for a small first week
Open the Jurnie chat and describe both the goal and your available time. Specific constraints make the suggestion easier to evaluate.
“I want to launch a portfolio. I have three 30-minute sessions this week. Suggest three small tasks for my first week. Keep the plan realistic and explain what I should finish in each session.”
Read the response before relying on it. AI suggestions can be wrong or too ambitious; adjust the scope to match your circumstances. A suggested plan is not evidence that tasks have been saved—check your task list.
3. Make each task finishable
Use Add task to enter the next actions and select the relevant Journey. This is an example you can adapt:
| Session | Task | Done means |
|---|---|---|
| First 30 minutes | Choose three projects | A shortlist of work to include |
| Next 30 minutes | Draft one project summary | A short problem, approach, and result |
| Final 30 minutes | Sketch the portfolio structure | An outline for the home and project pages |
4. Put the tasks into your week
In Tasks, switch to Calendar view and choose Week. Use the day’s Add task control to create work for that date, or edit an existing task’s date. Leave space for commitments and unexpected work. A due date tells you when a task is due; it does not by itself reserve a timed block in Google Calendar.
If you already use Google Calendar, follow the calendar planning guide to see events alongside your tasks.
5. Review before adding more
At the end of the week, mark finished tasks complete and review what remains. If a task did not fit, make it smaller or choose a more realistic date. Ask Jurnie to help revise the plan using what you actually completed.
Do I need Premium for this?
No. This example uses one owned Journey, tasks, and AI chat. Premium adds more owned Journeys and other capabilities listed on the pricing page.
