Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Jurnie ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Description of Service

Jurnie is a personal vision and goal tracking application that helps you:

Create and organize your personal visions and goals
Track progress on your objectives
Break down visions into actionable tasks
Access AI-powered mentoring and guidance
Reflect on your personal growth journey

User Account and Registration

To access certain features of Jurnie, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain the security of your password and account
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Jurnie Premium and Recurring Billing

Jurnie Premium lets you create and add tasks across multiple owned Journeys. Free access keeps AI available and lets one eligible owned Journey keep growing. Shared Journeys do not use that allowance, and eligible early-supporter Journeys retain their existing editing rights.

Premium is offered monthly or annually. An annual plan is charged for the full year upfront, rather than in monthly installments. Review the price, currency, billing interval, and total at checkout before subscribing. Applicable taxes are added to the listed subscription price. Where currency conversion applies, checkout explains the exchange rate and how renewal amounts may vary.

Your subscription renews automatically at the selected interval until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges using your selected payment method, as described at checkout. You can see your subscription status and renewal or end date in Settings → Billing. Self-service switching between monthly and annual plans is not currently available.

Purchases are sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments. Link is the merchant of record for the transaction; Jurnie provides the application and product support. The payment terms shown at checkout, including Link's terms, also apply to your purchase. Transaction receipts and related payment messages may come from Link.

Cancellation, Failed Payments, and Refund Requests

To stop renewal, open Settings → Billing → Manage billing and complete the cancellation before your next renewal. Ordinary subscription cancellation keeps Premium available until the displayed end date. After Premium ends, your existing Journeys and tasks remain. Free limits apply to creating Journeys and adding tasks; existing tasks remain editable. Eligible early-supporter Journeys keep their existing editing rights.

If a renewal payment fails, update your payment method through Manage billing. Premium may remain available for a limited grace period, with any deadline shown in Billing. Further failed attempts do not restart that period. If payment is not recovered, Premium access ends and Free limits apply.

Canceling a subscription or deleting your Jurnie account does not automatically issue a refund or a credit for unused time. For a refund request or transaction problem, contact Link support or support@jurnie.co. Requests are considered under the applicable purchase terms and law. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights or refunds required by applicable law.

Account deletion is different from canceling renewal. If you delete your account in Settings, Jurnie first confirms that associated subscription billing has stopped, then removes the account and its application data. Premium access ends immediately on successful deletion, even if paid time remains. If billing cannot be stopped, deletion is not completed and you can retry or contact support. Deleting Jurnie does not itself delete your Link account or Stripe/Link transaction records; see our payment-data privacy information.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Jurnie to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Share inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts
Use the service for any commercial purposes without permission
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise system security

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Jurnie (your visions, goals, tasks, and notes). By using our service, you grant us the right to:

Store and process your content to provide the service
Use your content to provide AI mentoring responses
Back up your content for service reliability

We do not claim ownership of your personal content and will not share it with third parties except as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

AI Mentor Service

Our AI Mentor feature provides guidance and suggestions based on your goals and questions. You understand that:

AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
AI guidance is for informational purposes and should not replace professional advice
You are responsible for evaluating and acting on AI suggestions
AI conversations may be processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI)

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

Intellectual Property

The Jurnie service, including its design, functionality, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute our software or content
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Use our trademarks or branding without permission

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jurnie and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the application settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if:

You violate these terms of service
You engage in prohibited or harmful activities
Required by law or legal process

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, providing additional notice through the application or email. Continued use of Jurnie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the service is operated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
