To provide our vision tracking service, we collect and store:

• Tasks and action items you create
• Progress tracking data and completion status
• Notes and reflections you add to your visions

AI Chat Data

When you use our AI Mentor feature:

• Your questions and messages to the AI mentor
• AI responses and conversation history
• Context about your visions shared with the AI for personalized guidance

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Jurnie service
• Authenticate your account and ensure security
• Store and organize your personal visions and goals
• Provide personalized AI mentoring based on your goals

Google OAuth Integration

When you choose to sign in with Google:

• We only request access to your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture)
• We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other Google services
• You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings
• We use this information solely for account creation and authentication

Data Storage and Security

Your data security is important to us:

• We use Supabase, a secure, enterprise-grade database platform
• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• We implement industry-standard security measures
• Access to your data is strictly limited to necessary operations
• AI conversations may be processed by OpenAI for generating responses

Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, including Google user data, to third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.

Google User Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture). This Google user data:

• Is not shared with any third parties for their own purposes
• Is not sold or transferred to data brokers or advertisers
• Is only used to create and manage your Jurnie account
• Is stored securely in our database (Supabase) solely for authentication

Service Providers

We share limited data with service providers who help us operate Jurnie. These providers:

• Only receive data necessary to perform their specific function
• Are contractually obligated to protect your data
• Cannot use your data for their own purposes

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a valid legal process (court order, subpoena) or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jurnie, our users, or the public.

Third-Party Services

Jurnie integrates with the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

• Supabase: Database and authentication services - stores your account and application data securely
• OpenAI: AI mentor responses - processes your conversations to generate personalized guidance (does not receive your Google user data)
• Google OAuth: Optional sign-in authentication - we only receive basic profile information you authorize
• PostHog: Analytics - helps us understand how users interact with Jurnie to improve the experience (anonymized usage data only)

Each service has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. None of these services receive your Google user data except as specifically described above.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in Jurnie
• Update or correct your account information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your vision and goal data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Revoke Google OAuth access through your Google Account settings

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain certain information.

Children's Privacy

Jurnie is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Jurnie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
